Willing to Give Up Millions? Did Biden Say "No Vax Mandate?" | The Mister Brown Show
Why are people willing to give up millions of dollars over the covid vaccine mandate? It’s all about choices and having a conversation. To listen to the whole podcast you can click the link below.
Not Obvious
The things that are obvious to you may not always be clear to other people who have different experiences or circumstances. A friend posted something on social media that stated “The things that are so OBVIOUS to you are not obvious to the people who disagree with you…” We have to understand this concept before we can have productive conversations with people from across the aisle. People come from different places and backgrounds, and that forms how they interact in the world. Treat people with respect. I can disagree with you, but I always have to respect you. Everybody has intrinsic, God-given value and we need to respect others based on that. It’s sad that we have allowed covid, the vaccine, mandates, and even elections to divide us from our neighbors, friends, church, and family. Sean Covey once said, “Seek first to understand, then to be understood.” This should be the basis for all communication because it is not one-sided. Take a step back and try to understand first.
Quote Of The Day
“You can’t start a new chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one.” We all have different seasons in life, some of which are good and bad, but you will not be able to move into the next season if you keep reliving or dwelling on the past. There was a season in my life where I wasn’t able to play basketball. One day I found myself back in the gym, but I was being lazy, I wasn’t giving the game my all. Then I realized that I needed to stop and be grateful I was even able to be at the gym because there was a time when I couldn’t be. In sports, they teach you to have a short-term memory because it allows you to quickly forget the bad play and move on to the next one. When you dwell on the past or keep “reliving the glory days” you will never be able to see past that season of life. Turning the page to a new chapter in your life is a choice. At some point, you have to choose to turn the page and keep reading.
Public Figures Giving Up Millions
Why are Dan Bongino, Nick Rolovich (Washington State Football Coach), Novak Djokovic (World’s #1 Men’s Tennis Player), Kyrie Irving, and others walking away from millions of dollars over covid vaccine mandates? Was vaccination a requirement for these individuals when they first got their job or entered the athletic world? Before we get too far into this conversation, I want to clarify what I am NOT saying. I am not trying to tell you not to get the covid vaccine. I am not giving medical advice or trying to spread misinformation. I am simply trying to ask questions and give my perspective in an effort to continue the conversation.
I think we need to take off our political team jerseys and stop betraying ourselves for the sake of the party line. I can agree with you if you make a great point, regardless of your political philosophy. I agree with Novak Djokovic who is taking a stand and refusing to reveal his vaccination status. Honestly, if the vaccine doesn’t stop the spread, why is it mandatory?
President Biden, members of his administration, and even Dr. Fauci said they would never mandate the vaccine for privacy and authority reasons. Now they are stating it is their job to do so in order to protect Americans. What changed? OSHA’s website even states under frequently asked questions that they will not be recording the adverse effects of the covid vaccine that they are requiring businesses to enforce because they do not want to discourage people from getting the vaccine. This doesn’t make sense. Why are we forcing a medical practice or vaccine on people through their jobs, careers, and livelihoods?
I wish more people would stand up and say “No” to the Passport Game. I have had to say no to certain schools that have invited me to speak because I refuse to play this Passport Game. I want to stand up for what is right, and the mandates and vaccine passports are not right. It is a choice to speak up, it is a choice to be heard, and it is a choice to engage in the culture.
Remember, when you make better choices, you will live a better life. So choose well. Oh yeah!
